I.    As the officially authorized agency, perform market research and acquisitions, make payments, write contracts for services and material relating to military work, and conform to the established regulations known as the “General Instructions for the Importation of Goods and Services”(IG 10-32);

II.    In accordance with the current legislation, receive, oversee, and account for the resources that are allocated to the Commission by the managing agency to cover expenses incurred by the Brazilian Army abroad;

III.    In accordance with current legislation, receive, oversee, and account for the resources of the Army Fund abroad;

IV.    Assist all personnel on official duty or undergoing medical treatment in the United States, as well as, to the extent possible, all military personnel on active duty, or in the reserves, passing through the country;

V.    Support the Cabinet of the Army Commander in its activities taking place abroad;

VI.    Promote Brazil, the Brazilian Army, and the Brazilian defense materials industry in its scope.
